Italian for Travelers 2 (Online)

Description

Traveling to Italy? This course will focus on deepening your proficiency to comprehend and speak Italian in practical situations. Grammar, structures and vocabulary will be reviewed within the context of reading and discussing authentic texts (tickets, menus, brochures, cultural articles...).. Each lesson will help you to better communicate with others while travelling within Italy or interacting with Italian-speakers in the U.S. Participants should already be able to express themselves on a basic level using memorized phrases and short sentences in the present tense.

Facilitator

Kristine Massari is an experienced instructor of Italian and Spanish who has taught Italian at all levels and traveled extensively throughout Italy. A graduate of Iona college with a B.A. in Italian and Spanish and a M.S. in Education in Spanish Literature, she completed a M.A. in Italian Literature at Hunter College, and doctoral studies in Italian Literature at NYU.
