Indian Paper Quilling Holiday Cards

Paper quilling arrived in India as a modernized handicraft in the late 20th century. Indian artisans quickly embraced the medium, pairing the technique with the country's rich history of paper crafts and making it their own. In this class, traditional artist and artisan Ajita Shah will teach you how to use paper quilling to decorate cards with images of wreaths, trees, lights or doves. You'll go home with new skills and your own gorgeous holiday cards! All materials included in the tuition price.

Facilitator

Ajita Shah taught in the Jersey City public school system for 28 years and received Bilingual Teacher of the year award twice. After retirement, she started teaching arts and craft in local libraries. She participated in Bergen County Adult Art exhibition twice and won first and second place.
