For part 3 of the Excel series, students will gain a basic understanding of the worksheet environment, tools for working with data, and resources for continued learning. Laptops will be provided. We'll break for 30 minutes in the middle of class. This is a hands-on class; students should be able to use the mouse and keyboard. Students are welcome to bring a flash drive to save their work for review and practice.
Formulas & Functions – learn more about how to use formulas, and the wide array of built-in functions. Includes the concepts of relative and absolute cell references, named ranges in formulas; and how to create and use a Table to streamline your work. After this class, students will be ready to work with Pivot Tables, an even more powerful way to work with data.
