Description

Join us for a beginner's introduction to the Irish language! This class will cover spelling, pronunciation, common phrases and vocabulary. Along the way, you will learn Irish first and last names and the original, meaningful place names (Logainmneacha) of Ireland.

Facilitator

Pól Ó Murchú has taught Irish for over 17 years; privately, in class, and on the radio in the US. For the last 28 years, he has given tutorials (grinds) all over Ireland. His 2013 reference book, A Grammar of Modern Irish, is on the school curriculum for the whole island.
